Italy [permalink]
Whew… just got back from Italy last week, and I’m working hard to get back into the swing of things. Jet-lag has not been kind this trip, and neither have airlines. Without going into too much detail, after missing 2 connections, a 15 hour lay-over in NYC, and having to get to Italy a day late because of a missed connection, a few lessons learned about about airplane tickets:
- CheapTickets is the same as Expedia. I asked for a manager while speaking to a CheapTickets rep and simply got transfered to an Expedia customer service rep.
- I will never again buy a ticket from CheapTickets unless it is a non-stop flight.
- Always show up for your original flight no matter who tells you what over the phone.
- I will never fly Alitalia Airlines again.
- Continental Airlines will take care of you (Thank you, Mr. John Klinkhammer).
Alrighty. Now that I got that out of the way, here are some of my pictures from the trip. As soon as I get my new proofing site up, I will put the rest of the pictures in the proofing section.
