yeah, i think the interest timelapse (beyond the aesthetic) is this idea of compressing time into one photographic "moment".

I met Josh about a year ago, just shooting some stuff at a little workshop called OneLight down in San Diego. From what I could gather from the sort time I got to chat with him was that all he wants to do is play music for a living.

Fast forward about a year, and I see a little notice pop up on my Facebook that Josh was releasing his CD at one of his regular places, Lestat’s (which, by the way, is such a great little place for coffee and live music). We’ve been talking about having me shoot one of his shows for about the entire past year, but we finally got it all together for the release of his CD “RAW”.

I forgot how much I love live music. When I took his picture last time, he wasn’t playing, so this was my first time seeing him play. I love watching people who just love what they do. Josh is one of those people.

There’s another artist you will see in some of these pictures, and her name is Anjulie. She’s definitely worth checking out as well.

You can find their music on iTunes, and I think Anjulie has her CD out in certain Starbucks in San Diego.
